Mayuran Ravindran, MD

Dr. Ravindran is excited to continue serving patients of all ages as part of Allergy Partners of the Triangle.

Originally from Ohio, Dr. Ravindran earned both his undergraduate and medical degree from Ohio State University. He then completed his residency training at Emory University, followed by his Allergy & Immunology fellowship at the University of North Carolina, and is now proud to call the Triangle home.

“My path to becoming an allergist was shaped by my own experiences living with food allergies, seasonal allergies, and asthma. This personal perspective helps me understand the challenges that my patients and their families face, and it motivates me to provide compassionate, personalized care that makes their daily life a little easier.”

Dr. Ravindran has contributed to the field through multiple journal articles published in respected, peer-reviewed journals, including Allergy and the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (JACI). His food allergy research has also been presented at numerous state, regional, and national allergy meetings, including those hosted by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology (ACAAI), the Southeastern Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society (SEAAIS), and the North Carolina Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Society (NCAAIS).

Outside of work, Dr. Ravindran enjoys staying active by playing pickleball and tennis, unwinding with stand-up comedy, and exploring new restaurants in the area.

With a passion for patient care, I pursued Internal Medicine residency training at AmitaHealth Saint Joseph Hospital, University of Illinois, Chicago, where I honed my skills in patient-centered care. My passion for addressing complex allergic and immunologic conditions led me to a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine.

My philosophy of care is rooted in partnership. I believe that truly understanding a patient’s story— their symptoms, fears, and goals— is the foundation of effective treatment. Whether managing allergic rhinitis, asthma, or food allergies, I employ innovative, evidence-based treatments. There is no greater reward than witnessing a patient, young or old, regain the freedom to live without the burden of their condition.

I am honored to join Allergy Partners of Raleigh, bringing my expertise to a community I am eager to serve. Outside the clinic, I find joy in my family—my husband and our two boys—who fill our home with laughter. I am committed to delivering state-of-the-art medicine with compassion, forging lasting connections with my patients to enhance their health and well-being.

Samantha Cresoe-Ortiz, MD

Dr. Cresoe-Ortiz grew up in Tampa, Florida. She earned her undergraduate degrees from the University of South Florida before obtaining her medical degree from the University of Florida. She also completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Florida, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then moved to Durham, North Carolina to complete her fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Duke University.

Dr. Cresoe-Ortiz is excited to bring her care and expertise to pediatric and adult patients in northern Virginia. In her practice, she values building long-term relationships with patients and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends. You might find them hiking in Shenandoah National Park, strolling through town with their dog, or enjoying cozy crafting sessions at home.

Erik Anderson, DO

Dr. Erik Anderson is an allergist who completed his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City and is board certified in Internal Medicine. His training in one of the busiest academic centers in the country prepared him to evaluate patients efficiently and effectively. He brings that experience to his patients in Wyoming and Colorado, focusing on identifying the key issues driving their symptoms.

Dr. Anderson completed his Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City and holds a PhD from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where his research focused on allergic disease and airway inflammation. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

He cares for both children and adults with indoor and outdoor allergies, asthma, eczema food allergies, drug allergies, and hives. He offers a variety of diagnostic and treatment services such as skin testing, and allergy shots and is enthusiastic about new evidence-based therapies for allergy and asthma care.

A strong believer in building long-term relationships with patients, Dr. Anderson emphasizes clear communication and collaborative decision-making. He is committed to providing solution-oriented care that empowers them to manage their conditions effectively.

Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Anderson is excited to make the Rocky Mountain region home. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, cooking, biking, and exploring the outdoors.
